Justin Turner QC was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1992 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2009. A member of 3 New Square, he specialises in all aspects of intellectual property litigation with a particular interest in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. In addition to the UK courts he has appeared before the European Patent Office and the Court of Justice of the European Union and is an editor of Terrell on the Law of Patents. Prior to being called to the Bar he obtained a PhD in immunology and virology. He is a former a member of GTAC (the Gene Therapy Advisory Committee) and a former director of UK Anti-Doping.
