Application by Elisabetta Sciallis to commence collective proceedings under section 47B of the Competition Act 1998 against (1) Roland Europe Group Limited and (2) Roland Corporation. The proposed collective proceedings would combine a mixture of standalone claims and follow on claims for damages and are claims for breaches of section 2(1) of the Competition Act 1998 and/or Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as determined by the Competition and Markets Authority in a settlement decision dated 22 July 2020 in Case 50565-5: Online resale price maintenance in the electronic drum sector (the “CMA Decision”) and by relying on findings of fact and evidence cited in the CMA Decision in respect of the sale of Roland-branded electronic drums, related components and accessories.

A case management conference was held on 19 March 2026.

A preliminary hearing to determine the adequacy of the PCR’s funding, insurance and legal representation for the purposes of certification took place on 10 June 2026. Judgment is pending.
