The first case management conference took place on 15 February 2022 where the Tribunal granted the Application Developers Alliance, the Computer & Communications Industry Association and Privacy International permission to intervene. The Tribunal also gave directions for the future conduct of the application.

A hearing took place in private on 19 April 2022 in relation to the treatment of confidential information where the Tribunal made a ruling concerning the approach to confidentiality at the final hearing in these proceedings ([2022] CAT 17).

The hearing of the application took place on 25-28 April 2022. On 14 June 2022, the Tribunal issued its judgment ([2022] CAT 26). On 14 July 2022, the President ordered (by consent) that the CMA's Decision be quashed and the case be referred back to the CMA for reconsideration.
