1518/5/7/22 London Array Limited & Others v Nexans France SAS & Others

A claim under section 47A of the Competition Act 1998 arising from the decision of the European Commission in case AT.39610 Power Cables dated 2 April 2014 ("the Decision"). The Commission found that a cartel had operated in the high voltage power cables sector between 18 February 1999 and 28 January 2009 (“the Cartel Period”) contrary to Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (“TFEU”). The Claimants claim for loss and damage arising out of the Defendants' involvement in the infringement found in the Decision.

Case management conferences took place on 7 March 2023 and 14 June 2023.

A case management conference took place on 26 June 2023, at which the President made case management directions.

A joint CMC with case 1440 has been listed to take place on 22 May 2024.

The trial has been listed to commence on 29 April 2025, with a time estimate of six weeks.
