A claim under section 47A of the Competition Act 1998 arising from the decision of the European Commission in case AT.39610 Power Cables dated 2 April 2014 ("the Decision"). The Commission found that a cartel had operated in the high voltage power cables sector between 18 February 1999 and 28 January 2009 (“the Cartel Period”) contrary to Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (“TFEU”). The Claimants claim for loss and damage arising out of the Defendants' involvement in the infringement found in the Decision.

Case management conferences took place on 7 March 2023, 14 June 2023 and 26 June 2023.

A joint case management conference with case 1440 took place on 22 May 2024. Pursuant to the Order of the Tribunal subsequent to that hearing, the trial of the ROC Issue shall take place 19 - 23 May and 3 - 6 June 2025, which shall be attended by the parties to these proceedings and case 1440. The trial for the other issues in London Array has been listed to take place 29 April - 16 May 2025.

A further joint case management conference with case 1440 listed to take place on 30 July 2024 has been vacated.
