Application to commence collective proceedings by Christine Riefa Class Representative Limited against (1) Apple Inc, (2) Apple Distribution International Ltd, (3) Amazon.com, Inc, (4) Amazon Europe Core S.À.R.L, (5) Amazon Services Europe S.À.R.L, (6) Amazon EU S.À.R.L, and (7) Amazon.com Services LLC for losses alleged to have been suffered as a result of the Proposed Defendants' breaches a result of unlawful agreements entered into by the Proposed Defendants in breach of: (a) the Chapter I prohibition contained in s. 2 Competition Act 1998; and/or (b), until 31 December 2020, the EU prohibition contained in Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.

A case management conference was listed for 22 March 2024 but was vacated by consent.

On 28 March 2024, the Tribunal gave directions for the conduct of the CPO hearing, which has been listed for 11 to 12 July 2024. Those directions were amended by an order of the President dated 10 April 2024.
