A counterclaim for damages brought by Whaleco UK Limited against (1) Roadget Business Pte. Ltd and Shein Distribution UK limited in respect of alleged infringements of prohibitions imposed by Chapters I and/or II of the Competition Act 1998.
The competition issues were transferred from the High Court to the Tribunal by order of Mrs Justice Bacon dated 29 July 2025.
A case management conference took place on 23 September 2025.
Further case management conferences have been listed for 17 December 2025 and 9 February 2026, both with a time estimate of one day.
The trial to determine competition liability, causation and declarative and injunctive relief in the proceedings has been listed for a period of three and a half weeks including three days of pre-reading commencing on 25 November 2026.
