Consultation on conflicts rule
The President of the Competition Appeal Tribunal (“CAT”) is consulting on potential changes to the working practices of the CAT in relation to the approach adopted in relation to the selection of Chairs and Ordinary Members. The aim is to inform the future recruitment of members or deployment of judges to the CAT.
The detail of the proposed changes is set out in the consultation document published today. The document sets out several questions on which the President would welcome views. Responses should be sent to info@catribunal.org.uk by Friday 28 November 2025.
