The United Kingdom Competition Appeal Tribunal is a specialist judicial body with cross-disciplinary expertise in law, economics, business and accountancy whose function is to hear and decide cases involving competition or economic regulatory issues.

    The President of the Competition Appeal Tribunal is pleased to announce that the Minister for Enterprise, Markets and Small Business, Mr Kevin Hollinrake MP, has appointed seven new members to the Tribunal’s panel of Ordinary Members.

  • Competition Appeal Tribunal Conference | Thursday 4th May 2023

    The Competition Appeal Tribunal held a conference at Downing College Cambridge on Thursday May 4th 2023, to mark the 20th Anniversary of its establishment as an independent, specialist Tribunal.  The subject of the day was the growth of private competition litigation.

    The programme for the day consisted of four separate panel-led sessions, each of which was informed by a series of draft papers that had been circulated ahead of the conference.
